I'm new to BLS. My league has a rule that an absent bowler shall receive their average with no deduction of pins. When I try to input a zero for the absent bowler pin deduction it keeps defaulting to a 10 and won't take the zero. I tried manually typing in the score but then it removes the 'A' for absent bowler and I don't want it to post as a triplicate score which will throw my averages off in the futue. HOw do I override this?

Marcus, you've posted in a forum that's not intended for support - just to discuss rules outside the scope of the software. Be assured, your rule is a very valid one. But you need to post in the main "BLS 2010" support forum. And when when you post there, indicate the version number of BLS 2010 (22.02.xx) that you currently have.

You will also do well to consult the manual, specifically page 72, where it shows you where to make the appropriate entry "ABSENTEE is average less pins", which you should change to zero.
