I've only been on this forum a few weeks but using the CDE software for a few years now. To all of you who are contemplating using this software, are new to this forum or a newbie secretary/treasurer PLACE YOUR FAITH IN & WITH THIS SOFTWARE AND WITH LANCE, PATRICK, THE ENTIRE CDE SUPPORT TEAM and THE SILVER ONE - FRANK. (sorry if I missed any one)

I have run amuck several times dealing w/my league and @ one point I believed I had no choice but to call Seattle and endure busy signals. Just a few weeks ago, right before season-start I was frantic with the new BLS-2007 and not understanding what was going on. This forum is truely the answer to all secretary/treasurer's prays.

I thank CDE, their staff and supporters for giving bowling documentation a major boost and freshness all league officers do or will appreciate.:)

Thank you for the kind words Mike.

While Frank is not affiliated with CDE, he is one of many of our customers that are "in the trenches" like everyone else, but has also been able to spend time helping out a lot of fellow secretaries here online.

I do also want to recognize our Team CDE volunteers that you sill see many postings from by the logo next to their name. They too are not CDE employees, but fellow users that are in the trenches and have made more of a formal position as being available to help fellow users. These users have more of a direct contact with CDE staff in terms of testing and other things. They also have had more experience with our software which helps out.

Michael, thank you for the kind words. "The Silver One". I've never been referred as such before...the Silver level is one that USA Bowling offered(there are Bronze and Gold) for coaching, and these are primarily for working with adults, as opposed to youth, as taught by the former YABA). I mention it because it's the highest bowling thing I've ever worked for. There are other Silver coaches that have put that in their signature lines here. [USBC continues to offer coaching courses.]

Michael, I'm glad to help. I'm currently disabled...neither working nor bowling due to an accident shortly before bowling season and as such, I spend quite a bit of time here. That extra time does allow me to give a lengthier and more detailed response than if I was pressed for time, say if I came home after league night, had just uploaded scores to LeagueSecretary.com, and needed to be in bed for an early wakeup. Instead, I can enter these forums on a Mac (which doesn't run BLS) and have BLS itself running on my PC next to it, and double-check something, before making a response. So, I've made probably more responses this season than at any time in the past, at least until I go back to work.

Let me be the first to say that, just because I'm currently posting a lot, that I am far from the best person that could answer a question or participate in a discussion. I do try to write detailed enough, step by step (as if I'm trying to educate my computer-illiterate parents). I've given incorrect, misguided, or incomplete responses in the past and have been corrected--even this season. But, get me back to work and I won't be writing here as much, but I'll still help as I can.

Thanks again. I almost missed this post, and I certainly don't go around looking for what's said about me (or anyone).
