As a League Secretary for 5 years now I think.
I just want to Thank CDE Software for their top of the line products to help us Secretaries do our job alot quicker, and make being Secretary so much fun!!
League Secretaries to not get enough credit from fellow bowlers, but it's the CDE programs that help make being a Secretary a great job to have.

Looking forward to another fun season.

I too agree that this is by far a superb software program and it keeps getting better. While Pat's responses are sometimes hard to swallow in his replies to general discussion, his feedback and actually taking a look at the suggestions is commendable.

I am the Sec/Treas of 4 leagues of various sizes, both male only and mixed. I could not keep up with everyhing without this great product.

What is discouraging is that this part of the discussion board is very lacking in the positive feedback that all at CDE Software deserve.

Hey Patrick...keep up the good work and thanks for the renewal discount this year. It makes me feel like our loyalty is appreciated.

Thank you for your comments Dale and Greg.

Unlike many other companies, the staff here are bowlers. Some of us, like myself, have "paid pennance" and have been secretaries ourselves. Personally I was a secretary for over 10 years of various leagues bowled, as a secretary service, and as part of a center's staff with and without autoscoring with CDE's product.

We all are working hard for you to make your life easier and to give options for your various leagues, as simply and as powerfully as possible. The LeagueSecretary.com feature has show the bowling industry what bowlers and secretaries want to see in this wide wacky world of the Internet.

We too wish everyone an enjoyable season this year. We look forward to hear other positive comments like this and continued feedback and suggestions to continually evolve BLS year after year.

Have been using your Standard program since 1995 (dos)

I too have to compliment CDE for a great program. I have been a secretary for over 30 years and it used to take me at least 3 days to do the league each week with a calculater and typewriter. It was the proof reading that took much of the time. Now after I have verified that the scores were entered correctly from the re-caps, all I have to do is push buttons.

I have two leagues and do print my own re-caps. My bowlers like it. Handicaps & averages are there for them.

Now I am done in 20 minutes and uploaded to the web. The financial takes another 2 or 3 hours later in the week, but then it is DONE.

We don't get a lot of feedback on the treasurer area. Send suggestions on how that 2-3 hours might be cut to under an hour. Please send then to help@cdesoftware.com to the attention of Raymond. We'll see what we can do to speed you up.

Just a comment on the new web site. It's great, as are all of your products. Been using since BLS6 and TBrac (now BLS2004/pro and TBrac2003)---just gets better and better.

Need to add my thanks for a good product. I am fairly new to CDE but do enjoy using it. Went from using a DOS program to using BLS2002. What a shock !! Wish I had changed years ago.
I look forward to many more years of butting heads with Patrick.

Thanks CDE for your software for bowling league secretaries. Last year was my first year as secretary, and I must admit I was intimidated at first. Your software makes the job very easy and fast. I enjoy experimenting with new looks for the standing sheet. The few problems I have had have been resolved quickly, either by you or others on the boards. Next year, I will probably take on another league and treasurer duties, but I now have confidence that I can handle both.
